F-4 Phantom Replica Landing Gear Door
I scratch built this 52″ long, 34″ wide fuselage section with front landing gear door that opens and closes via remote control and electric motor out of .050″ 5052 aircraft aluminum, door is exact size as the real thing, fuselage is close to the correct size and shape. Nearly 900 flush mount solid 1100 series rivets with details like lightning holes in the former, real L band military aircraft antenna, landing light (not wired up, but can be easily, functioning red status light (red, yellow, green tell the aircraft carrier your landing orientation) just plug it into a overhead lighting socket with the included Edison Bulb to 110 volt receptacle and mount. Press remote control DOWN button and have it lower down and press UP and watch is go back up. Electric motor has a nice noise to it as well.
